At the same time, the machine has been purposefully refined, with a clear focus on even greater temperature stability, reduced heat-up time, and improved ease of use.
Ready to brew in 12 minutes
Time plays a key role in daily coffee preparation. The Mechanika MAX II is ready to brew in just 12 minutes. This is made possible by the heated brew group with integrated cartridge heating elements, ensuring even heat distribution and excellent thermal stability. Compared to the previous model, the heat-up time has been reduced by 50%.
Maximum brew temperature control
Great espresso is never accidental. It is the result of many perfectly balanced parameters, with temperature playing one of the most critical roles. Even the smallest fluctuations can noticeably affect the flavour. That is why precise brew temperature control and thermal stability are essential in espresso machines.
The Mechanika MAX II ensures a smooth and consistent brewing process. Advanced technology guarantees stable results with every extraction. At its core is the integrated BTC System (Brew Temperature Control). It enables precise temperature adjustments between each brewing cycle, ensuring full control and consistent coffee quality at all times.
In addition, the machine allows fine temperature adjustments in 1 °C increments. This makes it possible to extract a wide variety of coffee profiles with precision. Whether fruity or bold, every nuance is brought out clearly.
The advanced one-way HX System further reduces thermal fluctuations. As a result, brewing temperature remains stable even during consecutive extractions.
Design meets function
The modern OLED display presents all key information clearly and intuitively. It allows easy control of all central functions at a glance.
Quick access shortcuts include:

In addition, steam power is displayed and can be selected in three levels: Low, Medium, and High. These values are precisely controlled via the PID System. A PID controller (Proportional–Integral–Derivative controller) is an electronic regulation system that keeps temperature stable by instantly detecting and correcting deviations. This ensures highly precise and consistent temperature control.

- High: 130 °C
This ensures full control over all parameters at all times. With its timeless and compact housing, the Mechanika MAX II remains true to ECM’s design philosophy and blends seamlessly into any environment. The exterior has been intentionally left unchanged, while the internal technology has been significantly advanced. It combines modern engineering, compact construction, and high performance. In many respects, it approaches the performance level of a dual boiler while remaining a highly efficient and flexible Heat Exchanger System.
The new ECM Home Line machine comes with a single-spout and a double-spout ECM portafilter, an ECM water filter, and a new ECM tamper. All accessories included for a seamless start into espresso preparation.
